R2-D2 Droid 2 dock pictures revealed

Verizon's R2-D2 version of the Motorola Droid 2 will be released September 30th, news w broke a few weeks back.
Pictures have now begun to creep up showing off some of the R2-D2-specific accessories. The phone dock, pictured above, is one such item. It's style and color fits in with what the phone will look like and it even has a couple Star Wars references on the device in case you forgot where the phone got its inspiration.
How many of you will be springing for the R2-D2 version coming to Verizon at the end of the month? [Engadget]

Samsung Fascinate appears in Verizon system, accessories in tow

What's that you say? How about a picture of Verizon's internal system showing the Samsung Fascinate ready and waiting to make it's way to your hot little hands. We still are pretty sure the release date will be September 9, and we know it's already making its way into a few hands, so it makes sense that Big Red is getting things ready.
Oh yeah, there's also a shot (after the break) of some accessories, including a 2200 mAh battery. That should keep you going for the best part of the day. Seven days my friends ... seven days. Thanks to you-know-who!

Microsoft officially announces the Arc Touch mouse

In a press release today, Microsoft officially announced its Arc Touch mouse. As the folks in Redmond explain: “The Arc Touch Mouse [is] the first mouse designed to flatten for portability and pop up for comfort. The new mouse features Microsoft’s first touch scroll strip for easy navigation — just move a finger slowly for controlled scrolling or flick for hyperfast scrolling. Windows-based PC users will love packing up their laptop bags without the added bump of a mouse, as the Arc Touch Mouse flattens with just the touch of a finger.” The mouse is priced at $69.99 and is available for pre-order at Amazon.com, Buy.com, and BestBuy.com; the mouse will ship in “early December.” Hit the read link for the official press annoucement.
